Transformational Cosmic Butterfly

Transformational Cosmic Butterfly

\r\n\r\nIsn’t this an amazing photo from NASA!  Truly representing the transformation that we all are going through as we enter into the Golden Age!  I love finding amazing natural phenomena like this that seem to be giving us messages.  It is especially appropriate as we move closer to the transformation of the earth and the evolutionary journey of man/womankind.  I love what Barbara Marx Hubbard says about the crysalis and how the caterpillar morphs into the butterfly.  Within the cacoon, the cells that are moving into creating the new form overgrow and outnumber the old form until the new simply takes over and the transformation is complete.  The butterfly emerges out of the darkness and into the Light.\r\n\r\nI like to believe that we all are doing that now.  There are so many of our friends and fellow Light Workers who are in that place of inner quiet, knowing that we have new adventures ahead, but perhaps not knowing how they will show up.  Being in that place can be uncomfortable, to be sure, and it can be exciting too if we have trust that our true Higher Selves are leading us forward.  Believing that all is in perfect divine order can make this time peaceful if we choose it to be so.\r\n\r\nEnjoy your coccoon time!  Let it nourish your soul as you await clear guidance about the next step.

Mt. Shasta’s Sacred Spring

Mt. Shasta

Mt. Shasta

\r\n\r\nIn August I was  in beautiful Mt. Shasta and this is what I wrote on August 3:  I have been here  four days now and each of the last three days have been called to the mountain.  I have spent hours gazing into the sacred spring crowning Upper Panther Meadows, which is resplendent with multi-colored wild flowers bursting forth with their radiance from the verdant soil.  This is a place to sit in wonder of the magnificence of nature, eight thousand feet above the expanse of the hills and valleys rolling out like a magic carpet full of treasures below.  It is one of the most magical places on earth to me.\r\n\r\nMy fascination with the spring kept me in a state of deep quite as I could perceive the gifts it had for me.  Every day I received its message. The water represented my soul.  I have always seen our soul energy as a liquid river of Light.  I see the Light coming from Source, through my crown chakra and moving steadily into my heart.  Then, if my heart is open, it can stream from that deep place of love and out into the world.\r\n\r\nAs I gazed into the spring and saw the water endlessly bursting forth from the earth herself, without hesitation or resistance, constant and so clear, I could feel that that is how it is when we are open to being the true channels of love that we are meant to be.  Continue reading

Wonderful, Amazing Speach

Commencement Address to the Class of 2009\nUniversity of Portland, May 3rd, 2009\nPaul Hawken\n\nWhen I was invited to give this speech, I was asked if I could give a simple short talk that was direct, naked, taut, honest, passionate, lean, shivering, startling, and graceful. Boy, no pressure there.\n\nBut let’s begin with the startling part. Hey, Class of 2009: you are going to have to figure out what it means to be a human being on earth at a time when every living system is declining, and the rate of decline is accelerating. Kind of a mind-boggling situation but not onepeer-reviewed paper published in the lastt thirty years can refute that statement. \n\nBasically, the earth needs a new operating system, you are the programmers, and we need it within a few decades.\n\nThis planet came with a set of operating instructions, but we seem to have misplaced them. Important rules like don’t poison the water, soil, or air, and don’t let the earth get overcrowded, and don’t touch the thermostat have been broken. Buckminster Fuller said that spaceship earth was so ingeniously designed that no one has a clue that we are on one, flying through the universe at a million miles per hour, with no need for seatbelts, lots of room in coach, and really good food but all that is changing.  Continue reading
